Justin Dugas
President
Justin is a Lafayette native and a graduate from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He has been in the oil and gas industry for over 15 years with a background consisting of project management, quality assurance, surveying, and operations management. Justin has been a part of multi-million-dollar CAPEX projects for some of the largest operators and EPC’s in the world.
Justin’s field experience while he was Surveyor for Lloyd’s Register consisted of offshore lifting appliances, offshore lift boats, coiled tubing units, ASME boilers and pressure vessels, vendor audits,vendor surveillance and structural fabrication. Also, while with Lloyd’s Register he managed field teams, the Americas service delivery support team, as well as key corporate global accounts.
After a short time in Houston, Justin now resides in Lafayette with his wife Lindsey and their two kids.
Clayton George
Engineering Manager
Clayton is the founder and Principal Engineer of Practical Engineering Solutions, LLC, a mechanical engineering consulting firm. Practical Engineering Solutions, LLC was established in 2009 to assist oil & gas service companies and contractors with their equipment compliance and performance needs. PES specializes in designing and engineering oil & gas process equipment, ASME pressure vessels, offshore lifting equipment, offshore coiled tubing and structural equipment, portable accommodations modules, computational fluid dynamics, piping designs and much more. PES has achieved multiple patents on its customers’ behalf including the Flange Cuff design which won the 2015 LAGCOE Innovate Challenge award for both judges’ favorite and crowd favorite. Clayton is the President of Flange Cuff, LLC which utilizes its newly developed technology to save time, money and improve safety during piping flange maintenance procedures in the oil & gas industry.
As a degreed mechanical engineer Clayton has worked in the design, engineering and construction industry for over 15 years.
His team at PES utilizes the latest technology and software to provide clients with their engineering and design needs. Clayton credits the success of his business to his highly talented and experienced staff that is second to none in the industry.
His educational background consists of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration both from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
He is a certified Licensed Professional Engineer, Winner of 2015 LAGCOE Innovate Challenge judges’ selection and Winner of the 2015 LAGCOE Innovate Challenge crowd selection.
Clayton is on the Board of Directors and sitting treasurer of Petroleum Club of Lafayette, member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers, member of University of Louisiana at Lafayette Alumni Association, member of Beaver Club of Lafayette, parishioner of Cathedral Carmel, member of the Krewe of Gabriel and member of the Krewe of Bonaparte.
His company affiliations are Principal Engineer and Founder of (PES) Practical Engineering Solutions, LLC and President of Flange Cuff, LLC.
Born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, Clayton still resides here with his wife Kasey and their 3 sons.
Sean Mallory
Business Development
Sean is the business development manager for both Practical Engineering Solutions, a mechanical engineering consulting firm and Securus Management Group, an inspection and quality company.
Sean has worked in the design, engineering and construction industry since 2005. He has experience in a variety of fields; he has worked in the automation/electrical industry, oil and gas industry and has also had lead designer/project management roles.
As Project Manager/Designer, responsibilities include designing equipment in compliance with various standards including DNV, ISO, ASME, CSC, API and ABS. He assisted in managing the submittal, approval, and inspections to the above-mentioned codes. He also worked directly for a major client as Senior Project Engineer and Head of Hazardous Cabin development for the USA Region.
Sean found his calling when he transitioned into business development where he is responsible for developing new leads, customer relations, generating sales processes and assisting the customer throughout the early stages of projects.
His educational background consists of a degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering and numerous certifications in 3D design, project management and sales training.
Sean was born and raised in Lafayette, LA, he still resides here with his wife Ashley, their two daughters and one son. He loves watching sports, hunting and participating in anything competitive.
